Himalaya Guides Sagarmatha - Everest Expeditions 2008 Himalaya Guides once again succesfully climbed Mount Everest from the south side with Swiss National TV team. More news to follow. Tshering Bhote, Jyamchang Bhote and Pemba Gyaljen Sherpa have been climbing lots of new peaks in Langtang region this season, and have also climbed the longest waterfall ice in Himalaya, Kwangde waterfall. At 20 full pitches, the climb was 750m vertical, grade 6WI. This is the first Nepali ascent and it was done in 24 hours non-stop Namche and back to Namche. Himalaya Guides are happy to announce that this season and next season we are expanding our operations, and will continue to both organize and climb the best mountains and routes in Himalaya. Himalaya Guides Sagarmatha - Everest Expeditions 2007 Himalaya Guides have had several successful climbs of Sagarmatha (Mount Everest) during May and all are now safely back in Kathmandu! Himalaya Guides' director and lead guide Tshering Pande Bhote climbed with the Chinese Olympics Everest Expedition 2007 from Tibet on the 24th of May 2007, assisting seven Chinese and fourteen Tibetan sherpas to the summit. On the same day and route, Himalaya Guides' Jyamchang Bhote climbed with Ms. Colsegurse who became the first Colombian woman to stand on the top of Sagarmatha (Mt Everest). Two days earlier, Himalaya Guides' Jamling Bhote summited with the IMG team from the Nepal side. Congratulations to all! Cheers, Himalaya Guides 100% Successful Expeditions
In the Khumbu region of Nepal, Himalaya Guides director Tshering Pande Bhote led Scottish climbers Nick, Vicky & Catriona and Sherpas Sangbu Bhote & Kinduk Bhote on the Himalaya Five Peaks Expedition. They ascended Gokyo Peak (5366m) on Oct 21st, Kala Pattar (5545m) on Oct 23rd, Lobuche East (6119m) on Oct 26th, Mehra La (5820m) on Oct 28th and Island Peak - Imja Tse (6189m) on Oct 31st. The Himalaya Guides Kwangde (6011m) Expedition was also a great success. Guide Jamling Bhote and Australian Craig Steven Kwangde made the first ascent of this technical peak since 1996. Himalaya Guides remote eastern border exploration went from Taplejung to Kimathangka and ended in Lukla (Khumbu region). Ama Dablam Expeditions
Our Ama Dablam climbs as part of the Himalayan Three Peaks have also been a success. Guide Tshering Pande Bhote climbed with Norwegian Sigrid Hammer, topping out to spetactular views on a clear day, and guide Jyamchang Bhote assisted the Arun Ama Dablam Expedition.
