Rafting in Nepal : Trishuli River

Trishuli River Adventure
Short trips that’s Long on Thrills!
The Trishuli, draining the snow-melt of the Ganesh and Langtang Himalayas, gains its name from Lord Shiva’s 3 pointed staff or Trishuli. Legend has it that the God drove the tips into the ground creating 3 small lakes, which form the headwaters of the river. There are 10 major rapids on the Trishuli starting with “Beginner’s Luck” and ending with the rocky and technical “Pin Ball” under the bridge of Mugling. The emphasis is on fun and safety. 2 to 4 days of exciting paddling and plunging through exhilarating rapids. For those short of time, it is a great trip in close proximity to Kathmandu.
